Mountain Bike

Mountain Biking is the sport of riding bicycles "Off-road", often over rough and uneven ground. It can be physically demanding on both the cycle and the rider. A feature of Mountain Bikes is components that enable the cycle to cope with the terrain conditions and to help ensure a more enjoyable riding experience for the cyclist.

There are various types of Mountain Bike (MTBs) including: hardtails, full suspension and rigid and it’s safe to say that whilst not all MTBs are really designed for cycling up a mountain; these versatile machines are built for extreme toughness and can be pushed to limits  where other cycles would be simply bailing out.

The good news is whether you’re in to: cross country, downhill, endurance or trail or dirt riding, a policy from Assetsure will cover your mountain bike against accidental damage including whilst in use.

If you’re more adventurous and want to take part in competitions we have an option to increase your cover to include competition use.
